Breakfast Naan Pizzas
These breakfast pizzas are the perfect thing for slow weekend mornings, or for those “breakfast for dinner” weeknight cravings!
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Adjust rack to upper third of oven. Place the naan breads on a baking sheet and brush each with a little olive oil.
- Spread a thin layer of Prego sauce over each naan, leaving a small border, then sprinkle each with ½ cup of mozzarella. Scatter the remaining toppings evenly amongst each naan.
- Using a spoon, make a small well in the centre of each naan and carefully crack an egg into each well.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, until the cheese is melted and the egg whites are set but the yolks are still runny. If needed, broil for 2-3 minutes to finish the eggs. Note: Eggs should be cooked to a temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Remove from the oven, sprinkle with torn basil if desired, and serve immediately.
Recipe Tips
- Pizza is a great way to use up leftovers, like cooked meat or smaller amounts of ingredients to clear out the fridge!
- Optional: add or swap any ingredients for your favourite meat or veggies.
