Spicy Tomato Seafood Soup
This recipe is so easy, but you’ll feel like you are eating in fine dining! Serve with crusty bread to soak up the spicy tomato broth.
Directions
- Heat the olive oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and sauté until translucent, about 3 minutes. Stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds more.
- Pour in the Prego sauce, broth and red pepper flakes (if using). Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.
- Add the mixed seafood to the simmering broth. Cover and cook for 5-7 minutes over medium heat, just until the seafood is opaque and cooked through.
- Stir in the parsley and lemon juice. Ladle the stew into bowls and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Recipe Tips
If you can handle the heat, turn up the spice level and increase the amount of chili flakes or serve with some extra hot sauce!
