How to Make a 7 Layer Pasta Salad
- In a large pot, bring chicken broth and pasta to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer until pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has been absorbed, about 10 minutes. Set the cooked pasta aside
- In a large bowl, stir together mayonnaise, lemon juice, herb, salt and fresh cracked pepper. Stir in cooked pasta. Let cool completely.
- Spread lettuce on a large serving platter. Top with pasta mixture. Arrange layers of lettuce, bacon, chicken, tomatoes, cheese, avocado and eggs on top of one another. Serve cold.
Make this pasta salad recipe your own! Substitute blue cheese for feta cheese, shredded cheddar cheese, or sour cream if desired. Garnish with green onions for added flavour, or add any of your other favourite salad toppings.
