Easy Sheet Pan Chicken Cacciatore
You don’t need to spend all day simmering tomato sauce to get the delicious flavour of chicken cacciatore.
- Heat the oven to 425°F. While the oven is heating, place the chicken on one half of a rimmed baking sheet. Place the peppers, onion, and garlic on the other half of the baking sheet. Season the chicken and vegetables with the Italian seasoning, salt and pepper and drizzle with the oil.
- Bake for 20 minutes. Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Mix pasta sauce and wine (or more sauce, if desired). Add the sauce mixture and mushrooms to the baking sheet and toss to coat.
- Bake for 15 minutes or until the chicken is done. Stir before serving.
Serve the cacciatore with hot cooked pasta, potatoes, or crusty bread
