Holiday Quinoa Stuffing

This stuffing is filled with apples, onions, sage, almonds and more delicious flavors you can sink your teeth into.

  • 2 cups (500 mL) quinoa
  • 2 cups (500 mL) water
  • 2 cups (500 mL) CAMPBELL’S® No Salt Added Ready to Use Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup (250 mL) Peeled and cored Gala apple
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) onion
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) dried sage,
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) fresh rosemary leaves,
  • 1/4 cup (60 mL) fresh thyme leaves,
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) garlic
  • 1 tsp (5 mL) ginger root (optional)
  • 1/8 cup (30 mL) pine nuts (optional)
  • 1/8 cup (30 mL) almonds (optional)
  • 2 bell pepper


  1. Add quinoa and water,bring to a boil and then lower to simmer for 10 minutes. Fluff and then set aside to cool (at least half an hour suggested).
  2. In a large bowl,mix the onions,apple,peppers,spices and other items.
  3. Add cooled quinoa,mix
  4. Stuff into turkey and cook turkey as directed

Recipe tips

Note that cooking time is for the quinoa only and DOES NOT INCLUDE COOKING TIME FOR TURKEY. Please allow at least 2 extra hours for this. Remaining stuffing can be reheated with more vegetables and/or nuts and served as a side. Water can be replaced with additional broth for a stronger taste.
