Holiday Quinoa Stuffing
- Add quinoa and water,bring to a boil and then lower to simmer for 10 minutes. Fluff and then set aside to cool (at least half an hour suggested).
- In a large bowl,mix the onions,apple,peppers,spices and other items.
- Add cooled quinoa,mix
- Stuff into turkey and cook turkey as directed
Note that cooking time is for the quinoa only and DOES NOT INCLUDE COOKING TIME FOR TURKEY. Please allow at least 2 extra hours for this. Remaining stuffing can be reheated with more vegetables and/or nuts and served as a side. Water can be replaced with additional broth for a stronger taste.
