  • 1 can CAMPBELL'S® Condensed Beef Broth
  • 1 1/8 lb (510 g) boneless stewing  beef cubes
  • 1 cup (250 mL) button or cremini  mushrooms, halved
  • 1 red skin  potato, cut into large chunks
  • 1 medium  onion, cut into chunks
  • 1 medium  carrot, cut into chunks
  • 1 salt  celery, sliced
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp (3 mL) dried thyme
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) frozen peas


  1. Combine all ingredients, except peas, in a large pot with a tight fitting lid. Bring to simmer over medium-high heat, stirring often. Reduce heat, cover and simmer gently for 1 ½-2 hours, stirring periodically, or until beef is tender.
  2. Stir in peas and heat through. Discard bay leaf before serving.
