Quick Braised Beef Stew
- Combine all ingredients, except peas, in a large pot with a tight fitting lid. Bring to simmer over medium-high heat, stirring often. Reduce heat, cover and simmer gently for 1 ½-2 hours, stirring periodically, or until beef is tender.
- Stir in peas and heat through. Discard bay leaf before serving.
