Our Rice Lentil Pilaf recipe puts a twist on the classic pilaf. Featuring lentils and rice combined with carrots, celery onions and tomatoes, you'll have fresh, flavourful side dish that's ready in 35 minutes!



  1. Heat oil in a 10" (25 cm) skillet over medium heat. Add carrots,celery,onion and garlic and cook until vegetables are tender.
  2. Stir broth,lentils and rice into vegetables and heat to a boil. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes or until rice and lentils are tender. Stir in tomatoes and parsley.
