Ingredients

  • 1/2 tbsp (8 mL) canola oil
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) small broccoli florets
  • 1 1/2 cups (375 mL) sliced mushrooms
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 2 1/2 cups (625 mL) CAMPBELL’S® 30% Less Sodium Ready to Use Chicken Broth
  • 3 cups (750 mL) uncooked whole grain rotini (spiral) pasta
  • 1 can CAMPBELL’S® Condensed Low Fat Cream of Mushroom Soup
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) low fat (1%) milk
  • 1/8 tsp (1 mL) ground black pepper
  • 2 cans low sodium tuna in water, drained and flaked
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) shredded light old Cheddar cheese

Directions

  1. Cook broccoli,mushrooms and garlic in heated oil in a large non-stick skillet at medium-high heat for 3 minutes,stirring often. Remove vegetables and set aside.
  2. Add broth to skillet and heat to a boil. Add rotini,reduce heat and cook at gentle boil until tender – about 15 minutes – stirring often. Do not drain.
  3. Stir in soup,milk and pepper. Gently stir in tuna and reserved vegetables. Heat just to a boil,stirring occasionally. Sprinkle with cheese.

Recipe tips

For an extra dash of colour and crunch,stir in 1/2 cup (125 mL) diced red pepper with other vegetables in Step 1.

    Found this to be one of the easiest recipes from campbell's yet. Different flavour adding the tuna with the brocoli
