  • 2 tsp (10 mL) vegetable oil
  • 1 cup (250 mL) chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) finely chopped carrots
  • 1/2 cup (125 mL) finely chopped celery
  • 2 mild Italian pork sausage, casings removed
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) dried oregano
  • Pepper
  • 2 cups (500 mL) CAMPBELL’S® 30% Less Sodium Ready to Use Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup (250 mL) drained rinsed canned white kidney beans
  • 4 cups (1 L) cooked small tube-shaped pasta (ziti)


  1. In large pot,heat oil over medium-high heat; cook onion,celery,carrot and sausages,breaking up meat with spoon,until softened,about 8 minutes.
  2. Stir in garlic,oregano,basil and pepper; cook for 1 minute. Add broth and beans; bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Add pasta and heat through,about 2 minutes.

Recipe tips

Sprinkle each serving with Parmesan cheese and drizzle with extra-virgin olive oil.
