  • 1 3/4 cups (435 mL) CAMPBELL’S® 30% Less Sodium Ready to Use Chicken Broth
  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) chopped, fresh basil leaves
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 tsp (1 mL) hot pepper sauce
  • 1 can stewed tomatoes
  • 3/4 cup (185 mL) uncooked regular long grain white rice
  • 1 cup (250 mL) frozen peas
  • 2 cups (500 mL) cubed, cooked turkey


  1. Heat broth,basil,garlic,hot pepper sauce and tomatoes to a boil in a 3 qt (3 L) saucepan over medium heat. Stir in rice. Reduce heat to low. Cover and cook for 20 minutes.
  2. Stir in peas and turkey. Cover and cook for 5 minutes or until rice is tender.

Recipe tips

  • To change things up,try this recipe twist:
  • Zesty Chicken and Rice: Substitute 2 cups (500 mL) cubed,cooked chicken for turkey.
