  • 1 tbsp (15 mL) canola oil
  • 3/4 lb (340 g) boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 4 portions
  • 1 can CAMPBELL’S® Condensed Low Fat Cream of Chicken Soup
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) apple juice
  • 1 cup (250 mL) shredded, low fat Swiss cheese
  • 1/3 cup (80 mL) diced ham
  • 2 cups (500 mL) hot cooked rotini (spiral) pasta, cooked without salt


  1. Brown chicken in heated oil in large non-stick skillet at medium-high heat. Remove chicken and set aside. Reduce heat to medium.
  2. Combine soup,juice,cheese and ham in same skillet. Heat to a boil,stirring often. Return chicken to skillet. Reduce heat to low.
  3. Cover and simmer until chicken is fully cooked - about 10 minutes,stirring occasionally. Serve chicken and sauce with pasta.

Recipe tips

  • White wine can easily be substituted for the apple juice,giving the dish a more sophisticated finish.
  • Have some fun discovering different cured meats to use in place of the ham – choose bite-size pieces or slices of prosciutto,salami or summer sausage.

    Swiss is very strong

    Swiss is a very strong flavor. If you don't love Swiss. Not for you. Families said it was ok.

    i loved it! but i substitued the swiss cheese for mozzerella because i cant stand the smell of swiss cheese, i also addeed mushrooms! it was great!
