Create rich, delicious sauces
Deglazing is a cooking technique used for removing and dissolving caramelized food from a pan to make delicious, rich sauces. After meat is sautéed, simply add Campbell’s Stock First™ to the hot pan and stir to loosen the flavor-rich browned bits stuck to the pan. Reduce the liquid and finish your sauce as desired. Below are just few flavorful sauce ideas:
  • Add some white wine and a little lemon juice. Cook the sauce to reduce and concentrate the flavor. It's delicious over broiled or roasted meats.
  • Add red wine and sautéed mushrooms. Cook the sauce for a few minutes to reduce and serve over beef.
